No code study was provided for the methanol storage tank/loading station.  Please provide a full code study and architectural drawings stamped and signed by an arcitect licensed in Alaska as required by Alaska State Statute Sec. 08.48.221.  Ref. AMC Sec.  23.10.104.8.  A full review has not been provided.

6/29/15- REVIEW COMMENT- Revised civil plans provided, however some detail lacking.  Indicate on plans dimensions showing actual fire dept. access road widths provided; fire flow for hydrants in code study or notes; required # of hydrants and fire flow, and actual fire flow & hydrants provided.  Approved to begin construction of containment wall this date.  YNJAEGGE

 6/25/15 REVIEW COMMENT- Reviewed fire dept. access w/design professional.  Revise civil plan to indicate gate at NE fence to allow for fire dept. access / Relocate parking to provide for 26' FD access; indicate knox padlock or knox box at all gates.  Relocate snow storage from roadway identified as fire dept. access route to provide 26' clear width. 

Provide civil drawings showing fire dept. access at all points to building and tank.  Hydrant must be available and accessible within 600 ft to all exterior.  Show/indicate width of gate on plans.  IFC 507.5.1/ Appendix C & D.  A full plan review has not been provided.
