TOPOGRAPHIC FACTOR FOR WIND
Reference the calculations. It appears that the topographical factor for wind has been taken as 1.0. It does not appear as if the topographical factor for West is 1.0. The structural drawings give values for K1, K2 and K3 which would lead to a topographical factor greater than 1.0. Please verify the factor used or revise and resubmit.
DESIGN OF SCREWED ATTACHMENTS
Reference the calculations. Where the design of the screws is for combined tension and shear, it appears that the combined loading check has been taken as TD/T+VD/V < 1.2. Please provide substantiating documentation showing this equation is appropriate for combined tension and shear in a screw. AISI S100-07 section E4.5 appears to indicate a different equation. This equation deals specifically with combined shear and pull over. For other limit states please use the unity check unless there is documentation showing another method is appropriate.
