STATUS:   3-27-15 Comments to be addressed.

The following comments based upon the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations.

A1.1        This floor plan depicts about a 70% solid wall store front, while A2.1 "Demo" and A2.2 "New" depict about a 90% Glass storefront. Please clarify.

A1.1        This Fire Code Diagram shows two store front exits, while A2.2 "New" shows only one. Please clarify and indicate the type of door(s).

A.1.         Indicate rated walls.

Provide a kitchen/bar equipment plan and schedule to include equipment loads, required utility connections and sizes and indications of (N) new or (E) existing.

A2.1        There is additional demolition work in the kitchen area that is not indicated.

A2.2        Clarify location of new walls with details of construction and wall heights.

Provide a door schedule to include but not limited to hardware, (E) or (N) and fire rating.

A2.2        Provide room or area indicators of use such as stairs, storage, office, hallway, electric, Etc.

A2.2        Clarify what 3070 means on the doors that are so marked.

A2.2        The new hood and new stove as marked are actually existing according to the mechanical drawings and sheet A2.1.




Advisory Information:

 

When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, architects stamp and signature.

RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.
