1.  Status: Architectural Corrections required.  12/19/13   Status: Full Architectural Approval for this Change Order/Alternate Means & Methods Request.  12/23/14

2.  The following comments (for this change order only) based on the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) and 2009 International Existing Building Code (IEBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued.  The plans and specifications do not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state, or local regulations.

3.  Drawing A9.00, Plan; The Door B18 from the garage back into the LIO building requires a 90 minute fire-resistive rating.  12/19/13  RESOLVED.  This comment is resolved by Redline to the plans.  12/23/14

4.  Drawing A9.00, Plan; The 10 foot wide stairway with the vertical platform lift (from the garage thur Door B18 back into the LIO building) requires an intermediate handrail to be located approximately 6 feet from the newly installed handrail that is located on the opposite wall from the lift.  It should allow at least 2 inches of clearance from the vertical platform lift when in its open position.  12/19/13  RESOLVED.  This comment is resolved by Redline to the plans.  12/23/14

5.  Drawing A9.00, Plan; The pedestrian walkway along side of the car ramp is part of the required exiting plan, since the other two exits are closer than one half of the garage diagonal.  It is impracticle to have a totally compliant exit with handrails on both sides; however, a single handrail along the outer wall is possible.  Please provide a design for this handrail that is as code compliant as practicable.  12/19/13  RESOLVED.  This comment is resolved by Redline to the plans.  12/23/14
