1) STATUS: 4-5-14 Comments to be addressed. 11-20-14 APPROVED.
2) The following comments based on the 2009 International Building, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Codes must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC, IMC, IFGC or any federal, state or local regulations. RESOLVED 11-20-14.
3) Provide structural, seismic and wind load calculations as applicable, plus fastening details for W-GT-1, W-RF-1, AC-1 & W-AHU-1 & 2 to include engineers stamp and signature, for structural review on a deferred submittal basis. RESOLVED 11-20-14.
4) WM401 According to the code plan on A004, the north side corridor wall is not rated and would not require fire dampers on the transfer air duct penetrations through that wall. Coordinate with the architect. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 11-13-14.
5) WM401 If the wall mentioned in comment #4 is required to be rated, the exhaust duct penetration of that wall from W-EF-7 would also require a fire damper. (IMC 607.5.3) RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 11-13-14.
6) 4/WM804 The discription of an "AIR TRANSFER DUCT DETAIL (DOWN TURNED)" does not correspond with the HWS & HWR details. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 11-13-14.
7) 5/WM804 Clarify the location of the clothes dryer to which this detail applies. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 11-13-14.
8) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised mechanical pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature. RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT. RESOLVED 11-20-14.
