1. LS.O2E-required exiting is not allowed thru a more hazardous area such as the Ambulance garage. Please show exiting common paths and distance without going thru the garage. (resolved)
2. A1.02ED- The total square footage of E.D is 16675, IBC1014.2.3 requires Suites to not exceed 10,000 s.f. Suite is defined as a group of patient treatment rooms..,.within an I-2 ..... Where are you breaking this space up into less than 10000 s.f. and show on plans the 2 required exit acess from each suite and the travel distance to that access (shall not be greater be less than 100'). IBC1014.2.4 (resolved)
3. Suite areas shall be separated by a smoke partition. See IBC 1014. 2.4.1 and 1014.2.7. (completed)
4. A1.02EN additional fire extinguishers are required in E.D. so that they shall not exceed 75 ft travel distance between them. (resolved )
5. 1.02EN-explain the "lock down and release" function of doors 2E109A, 2E108, 2E109B. Are these doors able to open in the direction egress under lockdown mode?
The questions remains. Are these doors able to open in the direction of egress under lockdown mode? If not, then additional exiting will be required that cannot be locked down. Or lockdown mode will have to be removed from required exits.
6. All alarm modifications require a permit since the system is networked. Sprinkler additions should be permitted also.
