1. The following comments based on the 2011 National Electrical Code (NEC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the NEC or any federal, state or local regulations.
2. AVAILABLE FAULT CURRENT:
Sheet WE003 (Field Marking - Available Fault Current). We could not verify that the available fault current is calculated and a note to mark it on the service equipment. NEC Section 110.24 requires that service equipment be legibly marked in the field with maximum available fault current. The field markings shall include the date the fault current calculation was performed and be of sufficient durability to withstand the environment involved.
3. CIRCUIT DIRECTORY OR CIRCUIT INDENTIFICATION ON FLOOR PLAN & PANEL SCHEDULS:
Sheet WE-601, and sheets of the floor plans (Panel Schedule and Floor Plans - Circuit Identifications). Panel schedules and floor plans do not have same circuit identifications. For example: panel iLC4 shows three circuits for recept RM C154D and recepts for roomsC156, 152. Panel 1LC3 shows recept for rooms 157, 155 and 151. These circuits should be clearly indentified. No two circuits should have the same identification/name. Refer to NEC 408.4 for circuit identifications.
4. TRANSFORMERS AND GENERATORS MOUNTING (STRUCTURAL REVIEW):
Sheet WE003 (Transformers - Structural Seismic Calculations). Provide structural, seismic and wind load calculations as applicable, plus fastening details for the transformer including engineers stamp and signature, for structural review on a deferred submittal basis. Refer to Anchorage Administrative Code AAC 23.10.104.8.1. Please address.
5. When the above comments have been addressed, please update the electrical plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three (3) sets of revised electrical pages to include clouded changes, electrical engineers stamp and signature.
