1. The following comments based on the 2011 National Electrical Code (NEC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the NEC or any federal, state or local regulations.
2. AVAILABLE FAULT CURRENT:
Sheet RE003 (Field Marking - Available Fault Current). We could not verify that the available fault current is calculated and a note to mark it on the service equipment. NEC Section 110.24 requires that service equipment be legibly marked in the field with maximum available fault current. The field markings shall include the date the fault current calculation was performed and be of sufficient durability to withstand the environment involved.
3. CIRCUIT DIRECTORY OR CIRCUIT INDENTIFICATION ON FLOOR PLAN & PANEL SCHEDULS:
Sheets RE-201, RE-301, RE-601and RE602 (Floor Plans and Panel Schedule Circuit Identifications). Panels and floor plans do not have same circuit identifications. For example: panel CR1 has many circuits named RECP RMR147. Panel HE1 has many circuits named elect rang RM R141, HE1. Panel HE2 has circuits named floorbox RM 141 and many other circuits named RECEP RM R141kitchen North and others Kitchen south. These circuits should be clearly indentified. No two circuits should have the same identification/name. Refer to NEC 408.4 for circuit identifications.
4. When the above comments have been addressed, please update the electrical plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three (3) sets of revised electrical pages to include clouded changes, electrical engineers stamp and signature.
