1.  The following comments based on the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) and 2009 International Existing Building Code (IEBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued.  The plans and specifications do not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state, or local regulations.

 

2.  CODE ANALYSIS:

Cover sheet. The code analysis shows the National Electrical Code is NEC 2008 edition. Note that the current adopted code is NEC 2011 edition.              

 

3.  DEFLECTING CEILING:

Sheet A0.101 (Partition Configuration - deflecting tracking). The partition is extended to underside the structure. The deflecting tracking needs to be shown on the plans. Refer to IBC Section 1604.3.1             

 

4.  EXITING PLANS:

The exiting plan is missing. Please provide exiting plans that including travel distance, common path of egress. Refer to IBC Section 1014              

 

5. When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
