2. The following comments based on the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) and 2009 International Existing Building Code (IEBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The plans and specifications do not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state, or local regulations.
3. Drawing No. A2.1, Partial Floor Plan and Door Schedule; Door PD-11 and Door PD-13 are shown as 20 minute fire-resistance rated. It appears that Door PD-11 and Door PD-13 are part of an exit passage way and as such should be shown as 60 minute fire-resistance rated. 08/06/14 RESOLVED. The drawing has been revised by redline to reflect this requirement for both doors. 08/07/14
4. Drawing No. A2.1, Partial Floor Plan and Interior Wall Type Legend; Wall Type C is properly shown as requiring deflection tracking. It was noted that there is no second level at this location and thus the lid does not require a fire-resistance rating. 08/07/14
5. Drawing No. A4.1, Mall Entrance Storefront Elevations and Glass Notes and Schedule; Glass Type B is not shown as requiring safety glazing.
