1) STATUS: 6-17-14 Comments to be addressed. X14-1572 totally replaces the original permit C14-1410. Status: Full Architectural Approval for this Change Order. 06/30/14
2) The following comments based upon the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations.
3) G1.2 Plumbing fixtures are required for an S-2 occupancy per IBC Table 2902.1. Clarify within the code study the availability of toilet facilities within 500 feet per IBC 2902.3.2. RESOLVED. There is the availability of adequate toilet facilities within 500 feet per IBC 2902.3.2. 06/30/14
4) 2/A3.1 Provide pre-insulated wall and roof panel information to include manufacturers literature showing compliance with "all of the requirements of IBC 2603.4.1.4" (highlighted or annotated), "R" values per IECC Table 502.2(1) and vapor retarder per local amendment to IECC 502.5. RESOLVED. Fiberglass insulation is being utilized for this project. 06/30/14
5) Provide footing, foundation and pavement details to include vapor retarder per local amendment to IECC 502.5 and insulation per IECC Table 502.2(1). RESOLVED. 06/30/14
6) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, architects stamp and signature.
RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.
7. The building is greater than 5,000 square feet in area. Per IBC Section 903.2.9, item 4, the building requires sprinklers because itis used for the storage of commercial trucks. 6/26/14 RESOLVED. The building has been redesigned to be less than 5,000 square feet in area. 06/30/14
