1st Review 3/4/2014 - Corrections Required.  OK to Issue Permit.  See Comment 1.  Note:  Fire extinguishers (FE's) are not shown on plans but has been determined by architect that existing locations are not effected.

1.  The existing elevator openings are not protected against smoke spread.  There is no elevator shaft pressurization, elevator lobby or elevator opening protection.  This condition represents a serious life safety issue to building occuppants and needs addressing under IFC 102.9.  This item will be deferred until a meeting between the owner and fire marshal takes place and a resolution is agreed to.

2.  Provide Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing plans.  Show locations of both existing and new emergency light and exit sign fixtures.
