1) STATUS: 01-14-14 Comments to be addressed. 2-12-14 COMMENTS TO BE ADDRESSED.
2) The following comments based upon the 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform Plumbing Code or any federal, state or local regulations. RESOLVED 2-12-14.
3) M1.1.0 The approximate location of the existing gas meter was shown to be in the middle of the existing loading dock. Without an exact location it was assumed to be at the south east corner of the same loading dock. It therefore appears that the 2" gas main serving three appliances (870 MBH @ 180 feet) and the 1-1/4" gas branch serving GDH-1 (350 MBH @ 180 feet) are undersized per UPC Table 12-8. 2-12-14 UNRESOLVED. THE 1-1/4" GAS BRANCH SERVING GDH-1 HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED.
4) M1.1.0 The plan shows a 1" gas line up to RTU-2. On the Mezzanine Level on M3.1.0 the same gas line is shown as 3" going down to the first level. Please clarify. 2-12-14 UNRESOLVED. SHEET M3.1.0 STILL INDICATES A 3" GAS LINE CONNECTING TO RTU-2.
5) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised plumbing pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature. RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.
