1) STATUS: 12-10-13 Comments to be addressed. 12-24-13 APPROVED.
2) The following comments based on the 2009 International Building, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Codes must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC, IMC, IFGC or any federal, state or local regulations. RESOLVED 12-24-13.
3) Provide structural, seismic and wind load calculations as applicable, plus fastening details for MAU-3 & KH-1 to include engineers stamp and signature, for structural review on a deferred submittal basis. RESOLVED 12-24-13.
4) 2/M3.1 The exhaust outlet for EF-15 is to be at least 40" above the roof surface. (IMC 506.3.12.1) Please clarify. RE-SOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 12-12-13.
5) 4(?)/M3.1 It appears that the gas pipe distance from MAU-3 back to the branch tee is slightly more than 110' and that the total developed length for Zone 4 would be somewhat more than 110 feet. Please clarify. RE-SOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 12-12-13.
6) 4(?)/M3.1 It appears that the existing 1-1/4" Gas supplying MAU-3 and a future load (600 MBH @ 125') is under sized per IFGC Table 402.4(2). RE-SOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 12-12-13.
7) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised mechanical pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature. RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT. RESOLVED 12-24-13.
