1) STATUS:   11-5-13 Comments to be addressed.

 

2) The following comments based on the 2009 International Building, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Codes must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC, IMC, IFGC or any federal, state or local regulations.

 

3) Provide structural, seismic and wind load calculations as applicable, plus fastening details for RTU-3, MAU-1, Kitchen Hoods 1-4 and the domestic water expansion tank to include engineers stamp and signature, for structural review on a deferred submittal basis.

 

4) 01 & 05/M202          A smooth, cleanable, nonabsorbent and noncombustible material is to be installed between the hood and the hood and the gypsum or cementatious wallboard over an area extending not less than 18 inches in all directions from the hood and at least below the level of the cooking surface. (Exception to IMC 507.9) Provide clarification.

 

5) M101          Note #11 should reference detail #10 on M201.

 

6) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised mechanical pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.             RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.
