Please provide design of the shelter foundation. It appears the tower may be existing, but please verify. Please also verify that the tower was designed for the antennas being installed.

Comment resolved; however please provide the following:

1. The layers inputted into the Lpile analysis do not appear to match the bore log attached. The analysis indicates the top 2 feet as silt, and the bottom 26 feets as sand while the log indicates the top 2 feet as gravel, the next 20 feet as sand with gravel, and the bottom 6 feet as clay. Is the log attached not accurate? Please clarify.

2. On the last page of the Lpile analysis it appears that a combined stress ratio is determined for the pile. Please clarify how the axial capacity was determined. Please note that unless the pile cap can be shown to provide rotational restraint for the pile that the effective length factor must be taken as 2.1 when determining the capacity of the column. Where the pile cap does provide rotational restraint it must meet IBC section 1810.2.11.2(2).
