1) STATUS:   6-05-13 Comments to be addressed.        7-01-13 APPROVED.

 

2) The following comments based upon the 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform Plumbing Code or any federal, state or local regulations.       RESOLVED 7-01-13.

 

3) Provide structural and seismic calculations plus fastening details for WSHP-1 and the water heater to include engineers stamp and signature, for structural review on a deferred submittal basis.    RESOLVED 7-01-13.

 

4) P-001           Provide size and performance data for the water heater and expansion tank. This will be a requirement for the health department.        RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 6-24-13.

 

5) P-112           The 3-compartment sink is required to have a direct connection to the sanitary system with the adjacent floor sink flush mounted.(UPC 704.3 plus local amendment)                    RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 6-24-13.

 

6) 8/P-501        The domestic water supplied to the water softener and filters requires backflow protection per UPC 603 and the AWWA Cross-Connection Control Manual.        RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 6-24-13.

 

7) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised plumbing pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.                                   RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.                  RESOLVED 7-1-13.
