TENANT IMPROVEMENT (JINNY ROSE DAY)
1st Review - 6/11/2013. Corrections Required. Provide a written response to comments along with revised plans.

1. Provide an address on the building visible from the main approach or approaches for fire apparratus. Provide a "Knox" brand keybox at the front main entrance. It is anticipated these locations shall match or be similiar to previously approved locations for the prior occuppancy. Show locations on plans whether existing or new.
2. Provide occuppant load signage in assembly rooms as required per IFC 1004.3. Since the dining and bar/lounge are divided into separate rooms each room should have an occuppant load posted at the room entrance. Post an overall building occupant load in the main lobby. Show #'s to be posted & sign locations on plans. If you are proposing an alternate approach to provide required signage please call (907) 267-4964 to discuss.
3. It appears that sufficient changes to existing lighting fixtures is occurring therefore emergency lighting (EM) fixtures should be added at each exterior exit discharge as required per IFC 1006.
4. A separate submittal, review, and sub-permit is required for the hood suppression system serving the type I hood @ the pasta line. Like the sprinkler and fire alarm submittals this submital may also be deferred.
5. Watermain room 127 has an exterior access door and therefore technically requires a fire extinguisher within the room. If this room only contains a waterline and no other storage, etc. the fire extinguisher can be ommitted.
