Advisory Comment (no response required): This review is based on the requirements of the Anchorage Administrative Code (AAC), 2009 International Building Code (IBC), 2009 International Residential Code (IRC) and all adopted references thereto as amended by MOA. The following comments must be addressed before a permit can be issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of the codes, or any federal, state or local regulations.
1. TRUSS DRAWINGS
Reference the truss drawings. The truss drawings appear to be incomplete. AISI 214-07 section B1 requires all of the following information to be provide on the truss drawings:
A. slope, depth(s), span, and spacing of truss

2. WEB BRACING
Several of the trusses require web bracing. Please provide a detail showing the lateral restraint of this bracing. Reference AISI 214-07 section B2(5).

3. TRUSS ELEVATIONS
Please label each truss elevation so that the truss can be located on the layout plan. Reference AAC section 23.10.104.8.

4. MODEL INPUT
Provide model input for all trusses so that loading, load combinations and end releases can be verified. Loading may be verified the easiest by providing the graphical representation of the loading. Reference AAC section 23.10.104.8.
