1) STATUS: 12-19-12 Comments to be addressed.
2) The following comments based upon the 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform Plumbing Code or any federal, state or local regulations.
3) M1 FS-1 is calling for a 3/4" grate. Is that 3/4" openings in the grate or was it supposed to be a 3/4 grate as opposed to a full or half grate? The M2 floor plans are depicting a 1/2 grate installation. Please clarify.
4) 1/M2 & 2/M2 These plans are refering to kitchen equipment numbers 8 and 53. According to the kitchen equipment schedule, item #8 was not used and there was no #53. Please clarify.
5) The 3-compartment sink requires an adjacent floor drain or flush mounted floor sink within 5 feet (UPC 704.3 plus local amendment). Please clarify.
6) M2 Cleanouts are required at hand sinks #17 and #17A. (UPC 707.4 Exception #1)
7) M2 Cast iron waste piping materials are not compatible with the byproducts being disposed of at the floor sink #FS-1 serving the soda dispenser. Please address.
8) 2/M2 It appears that there is a 1/2" HW line connecting to the ice machine. Please clarify.
9) 2/M2 The domestic water service to the ice maker w/ bin and water filter requires back flow protection. (UPC 603)
10) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised plumbing pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
