.
1. Permit application identifies the building as a relocated cold storage building. It appears that this is an aircraft storage hangar. Was the original/previous use for aircraft storage?
2. Provide a code study applicable to aircraft storage per IBC 412. If this is a "Change of Use" for aircraft storage please indicate so. If hazardous operations as outlined in IBC 412.4.6.1 will occur provide the required fire suppression system. How many planes and what is the quantity of fuel being stored in each plane stored in the hangar? What type of maintenance will be performed in the Hangar? Include as a minimum, construction type, area, height, & Hangar Group. Exterior walls closer than 30ft to lot lines shall be 2 hour rated. Floor surface and grading shall meet IBC 412.4.3. Provide drainage detail. Show building egress as it appears two exits are required based on common path of travel.
3. Provide a larger scale drawing as 8.5 x 11 inch sheets are too small to read or measure scaled dimensions. Show fire extinguisher locations, exit doors, etc.
