2) The following comments based upon the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations. RESOLVED 9-18-12.
3) T0.3 Wall Types "A", "B", "D" & "E" require top of wall slip joints per IBC 1604.3.1. 9-18-12 UNRESOLVED. ITEM WAS NOT ADDRESSED. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 9-25-12.
4) A2.1 Clarify the use for the rooms entitled "Bed" #353 & #354. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 9-10-12.
5) A2.1 There are two sections taken, one in Infusion Center #356 and one in Bay #7, that reference X/A8.X. Please clarify. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 9-10-12.
6) A2.2 Door Type 7 has a reference in parenthesis of (Pharmacy). This door type is not located at Pharmacy #361A. Please clarify. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 9-10-12.
7) A2.2 Door frame types "B" & "F" with interior relites require safety glazing (IBC 2406.4.6). 9-18-12 UNRESOLVED. GLASS PANEL "B" WITHIN THESE DOOR FRAMES ARE ALSO REQUIRED TO BE TEMPERED OR SAFETY GLASS. 10-02-12 UNRESOLVED. PANEL TYPE "A" IN DOOR FRAME TYPES "B" AND "F" ARE ANNOTATED AS "FLOAT GLASS - CLEAR" AND WITH NO MENTION OF SAFETY GLASS. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 9-03-12.
8) A2.2 Provide door hardware specifications that were not included in the submittal package. 9-18-12 UNRESOLVED. THIS ITEM WAS NOT ADDRESSED. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 9-25-12.
9) 1/A2.4 The required ADA water closet clear space is 60" minimum, measured perpendicular from the side wall (604.3.1). The lavatory location is not in compliance. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 9-10-12.
10) NEW 10-02-12 Door numbers 301 & 329 are part of an egress component and are required to be of the side-hinged swinging type and shall swing in the direction of egress travel. (IBC 1008.1.2) 10-05-12 UNRESOLVED. THE DOOR SWING FOR #329 MUST BE SHOWN ON THE FLOOR PLAN AND THE DOOR SCHEDULE NEEDS TO BE REVISED. ALSO, MORE DETAILS NEED TO BE PROVIDED ON THE LOCKING MECHANISM FOR DOOR #329. EVERYTHING MUST BE INDICATED ON THE PLANS.
11) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, architects stamp and signature.
