1st Review 7/20/2012 - Corrections Requuired.  Provide a written response to comments along with revised plans.

1.  Provide fire extinguishers (FE) as required per IFC 906.  Show size, type, & location on plans.  It appears that at least 2 FE's will be required to meet the maximum 75ft travel distance due to the fixture layout.

2.  Data on the entire building to include adjacent occupancies, area, occupant load, etc is not provided.  The code study references "Nonseparated Use" with no ocupancy separations.  Using this provision the threshold for installing a fire alarm per IFC 907.1 would be 300 occupants for the entire building.  It appears that this threshold may be exceeded as your space alone has 173 occupants and there is at least one restaurant space.  Either show the occupant load count for the entire building and either provide a fire alarm throughout the building or occupancy separations to eliminate the required fire alarm.  State foire alarm requirements on plans.  ie optional, required, etc.  Sheet A4, note 5 alludes to a possible fire alarm panel in the sales area.  Sheet E1 advises to coordinate Fa requirements with local authorities.  There is no reference to a fire alarm on specification sheets.  Please explain.
