1) STATUS: 8-09-12 Comments to be addressed.
2) The following comments based on the 2009 International Building, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Codes must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC, IMC, IFGC or any federal, state or local regulations.
3) Provide structural & seismic calculations plus fastening details for B-1, 2 & 3 to include engineers stamp and signature, for structural review on a deferred submittal basis.
4) Clarify the size and location of the required boiler system expansion tank. (IMC 1009.1)
5) M5.0 Condensate from the boilers is required to be processed through a condensate neutralizer (IMC 307.2 plus local amendment).
6) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised mechanical pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
