The comment #3 & 4 have been addressed and reviewed and approved. 

1.  The following comments based on the 2008 National Electrical Code (NEC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the NEC or any federal, state or local regulations.

 

2.  EQUIPMENT REQUIRES THIRD PARTY LISTING:
Please be aware that all equipment will require and be checked for third party listing per NEC 110-3. Any new or existing equipment to be reused or relocated will be checked for listing by the electrical inspector. Any equipment found without a listing will be required to go through testing to gain approval. Inspector to field verify.

 

3.   DOCUMENTATION (HAZARDOUS LOCATION CLASSIFIED):

Sheet E4 (Power Plan – Classification Areas). Please add (show) on the plans the classification areas. Provide the wiring method and the conduit seal. Refer to NEC Sections 500.4 and 515.

 

4.   EXISTING SERVICE LOAD CALCULATIONS:
Sheet E7 (Panel Schedules – Existing Feeder Loads Calculations). The plans have no calculations for feeder loads for the existing building as required by NEC Section 220.87. Please address.

 

5.  When the above comments have been addressed, please update the electrical plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three (3) sets of revised electrical pages to include clouded changes, electrical engineers stamp and signature.
