1) STATUS:  7-16-12 Comments to be addressed.

 

2) The following comments based on the 2009 International Building, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Codes must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC, IMC, IFGC or any federal, state or local regulations.

 

3) Provide structural, seismic and wind load calculations as applicable, plus fastening details for Evaporators K-20A & 21A, Type I Kitchen Hoods K-22 & 22A, MAU-1 (K-24) and Dishwasher Hood K-43 to include engineers stamp and signature, for structural review on a deferred submittal basis.

 

4) M2          EF-1, 2 & 3 provide a total of 8980 CFM of exhaust and MAU-1 provides 3000 CFM of makeup air leaving a diffference of 5980 CFM. Please clarify the balance of airflow required per IMC 501.3.

 

5) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised mechanical pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
