Comments for 5/15/12 submittal:

1.) GMC export route will be Elmore - Tudor - Minnesota - Raspberry - Lucy Pit.  Import is unknown at this time.  Some is liely to come from Abbott and Lake Otis via Lake Otis  - Dowling - Elmore - site or Sand Lake - Raspberry - Minnesota - Tudor - Elmore - site.  Concrete will come from AS&G (South Anchorage) and head north on New Seward Hwy - Tudor - Elmore - site.  The primary route to the site will be New Seward Hwy to Tudor - Elmore.  Construction hauling and material related deliveries will aboid local and collector roads as much as possible utilizing major roadways. 

2.) Please provide copies of all ADOT&PF encroachment permits which allow construction access to Elmore Road.

3.) Please provide copy of the MOA and ADOT approved TIA for the proposed faciility.

4.) Please provide a copy of the cumulative UAA site parking use reduction approval from the Municipal Traffic Engineer along with any relevant shared parking agreements.  Please provide summary of proposed parking relative to the UAA Sports Center lots.    

5.) As prescribed by the MOA Traffic Engineer in consideration of the shared parking agreement, please include details of the required (north -south) pedestrian facilities to be constructed along Alumni Drive north of Providence Drive connecting the Sports Complex facility with remote parking areas.  Please provide a separated, direct and clear path to enhance pedestrian safety and minimize vehicle-pedestrian conflicts.  This work is independent the proposed MOA trail (east-west) along Providence Drive.

6.) Provide details (type, size and location) for all proposed regulatory (MUTCD) signage, street names, speed limits, striping and advance traffic warning devices within the limits of the improvement.     

7.) Provide Site Lighting and Glare Analysis statement for the proposed parking areas to be inserted on the exterior Electrical site plan.   

8.) Approved for on site fill and grade work only.  5/22/12 ~DF~

10.) This review shall be considered incomplete pending receipt and approval of the requested revisions or additional comments.  5/24/12 ~DF~
