Some of the proposed storm drainage system has less than 4' of cover or so close, the potential for freezing is increased. Provide insulation board or additional cover for all areas with less than 4' of cover. Also for the same freezing potential, the MOA does not advise, and strongle discourages the connection to the back of a catch basin. In most cases the connection has to be to the street manhole or repace the catch basin with a CBMH and replace the lead to gain the additional cover.  (5-17-2012, lmm)
