1. Status: Full Architectural Approval. 4/3/12
1) The following comments based upon the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations.
2) REQUIREMENT OF ELECTRICAL SCOPE OF WORK:Please provide the electrical scope of work and include existing service load calculations, panel schedules with connected and demand loads, one-line diagram and accessibility to overcurrent protection so we can determine if work requires 100% designed engineered. Resolved. The Engineered Electrical Design was submitted. 4/3/12
3) CODE ANALYSIS:
Sheet A10 (Construction Type). The code study shows the construction type to be V-unrated. Please justify the type of construction. Resolved. The code study was redlined to indicate construction type II-N. 4/3/12
4) CODE ANALYSIS:
Sheet A10 (Occupant Load Calculation Table). The code study reference occupant load per table 1003.2.2.2. this is a typo because the correct table which is 1004.1.1 is referenced as header of the paragraph. Resolved. The code study was redlined to indicate Table 1004.1.1. 4/3/12
5) CODE ANALYSIS:
Sheet A10 (Egress Doors). The second egress door when fully opened encroaches on the existing hall corridor from opening. Please review and address. Resolved. The drawing was clarified to indicate that the existing situation encroaches only 8 or 9 inches (much less than half). 4/3/12
6) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature. Resolved. The comments were resolved by Redline. 4/3/12
