1) STATUS: 4-30-12 Comments to be addressed.
2) The following comments based upon the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations.
3) A1 Provide manufacturer's cooler and freezer preinsulated metal panel literature showing compliance with all of the provisions of IBC 2603.4.1.2 on a deferred submittal basis. No response required.
4) A2 Wall Types 1 Hour rated wall Type "B" with a U.L. listing of U465 does not include the use of fire-retardent-treated plywood.
5) A4 Wall type "B" is called out as 1-Hour. Door #100, #101 & #102 are being installed in wall Type "B". The doors therefore are required to be rated for 45 minutes. (IBC Table 715.4)
6) 1, 3 & 4/A9 Please clarify the use of high density particle board in Type I construction. (IBC 602.2)
7) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, architects stamp and signature.
