1) STATUS: 3-20-12 Comments to be addressed.
2) The following comments based upon the 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform Plumbing Code or any federal, state or local regulations.
3) M2.0 Boiler Piping Diagram The domestic cold water supply to the boiler is required to be protected from cross-contamination per UPC 603. Also, as shown it appears that the primary makeup heating fluid source will be the domestic water system. This could be problematic for a snow melt system.
4) P100 One of the P-4 floor drain P-traps in the mechanical room is missing a plumbing vent. (UPC 901.1)
5) P100 One of the P-4 floor drain P-traps is depicted as being vented to atmosphere outside of the building perimeter. Please clarify.
6) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised plumbing pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
