1) STATUS: 1-6-12 Comments to be addressed.
2) The following comments based upon the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations.
3) AF1 Code Study The MOA has adopted and is reviewing plans under the 2009 UPC, 2008 NEC and 2003 ICC/ANSI A117.1.
4) AF1 Code Study Clarify the Type of construction per IBC Table 601.
5) AF1 Code Study Clarify the accessible means of egress from the upper floors per IBC 1007.
6) A2.1 Provide dimensional details for the new main lobby guardrail complying with IBC 1013.
7) A2.3 The common path of egress travel from existing office #315 exceeds 100 feet. (IBC 1014.3 Exception #1)
8) A2.5 Door Schedule Door numbers S102, S202 & S302 require 1-Hour doors. (IBC Table 715.4)
9) A2.5 Door Schedule Door numbers S101, S201 & S301 require 90 minute doors. (IBC Table 715.4)
10) 1/A5.2 The three glass display panels require safety glazing. (IBC 2406.4.7) Please clarify.
11) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, architects stamp and signature.
