2. The following comments based upon the 2006 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations.

3.   EXIT DOORS AND COMMON PATH OF EGRESS:

Sheet  A .2 (Doors 12 and 16). Door 12 and Door 16 are required exit and do not comply with the requirement for common path of egress. IBC section 1014.3 requires common path of egress not to exceed 75 feet. Please address.

4.  EXIT DOOR OPERATION EGRESS DOORS:

Sheet  A .2 (Doors 12 and 16). The operation of door 12 and door 16 are not clear.  IBC Section 1008.1.8 requires exit door to be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. Please address.

5.  DOOR #12 ACCESS BY PUBLIC:

Sheet A .6 (Exterior Walls). The metal stud exterior walls do not meet prescriptive requirement of 2006 IECC sections 502.2.3 and Table 502.2(1). Please provide analysis in accordance with section 506 or use wood studs in exterior wall.
