Advisory Information:

Approved, MG 9-19-11.

OK for Footing & Foundation ONLY, MG 7-20-11. Other grading work outside of the building footprint such as storm drain and final grading are not approved.  By the developer going forward with the F&F the floor elevation will be set prior to approval of a grading & drainage plan stamped by a civil engineer that may result in significant increased costs to the developer to resolve site specific challenges to preparing an approvable site grading & drainage plan.

1.  Provide a drainage report prepared and stamped by a civil engineer licensed in the State of Alaska per the 2007 DCM Ch:2.  Reference the 2007 Drainage Design Guidelines, Appendix A for preparation of a Drainage Report (follow outline beginning on page A-3 and include relevant forms) to be submitted with the drainage and grading plan.  Please include drainage calculation inputs and results in the EPA SWMM digital format on a CD if applicable.  Resolved, MG 9-19-11.

2.  Address DCM drainage detention requirements.  Resolved, MG 9-19-11.

3.  Indicate the installation of storm drain pipe locator tape three feet below finish grade or two feet deep in the street structural section. MASS Section 20.13 Article 13.3.E, page 38.  Resolved, MG 9-19-11.

4.  ADVISORY NOTE: No CCO or CO until all driveways, traffic ways and drainage elements of the approved plans have been verified to have been completed.  Provide a schedule to Pam Ronning prior to commencing work.  Provide 24 hours advanced notice for inspection by contacting:  Pam Ronning at 764-9267 or 343-8296.

5.  PD comments are incomplete pending further submittals.

6.  ADVISORY NOTE:  Prior to any disturbance within wetlands, authorization is required from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Regulatory Branch (COE).  Activities requiring authorization include, but are not limited to clearing, grubbing, excavation, grading or placement of fill.
