1. Code study indicates design is to the 2006 version of International Codes. The current adopted code version is the 2009. Although the submital was recieved after the adoption of the current code if the design was began under the 2006 code and was far enough along (+50%) as of the date of adoption you may use the 2006 version. Which code will you be using.
2. The sliding door to the consulting room references a magnetic lock tied to the fire alarm in the remarks section of the door schedule. This is not allowed under the 2006 code however, a new section in the 2009 IBC (1008.1.9.8) may be applicable. Either remove the magenetic lock or provide details to include a hardware cut sheet showing compliance with the code. Your arrangement may not work on a sliding door as the method of operation must be obvious & involve a single motion to operate. I have only seen this newly allowed hardware on lever type knobs, with latches, on side hinged doors. It may not be necessary to tie the mag lock to the fire alarm under the 2009 code. this was a requirement for access controlled egress doors.
Note: Since item #2 is a door hardware issue I would consider allowing construction to procede while treating hardware detail as a deferred submittal. Please either provide corrections or indicate item will be deferred.
