1) STATUS:   9-8-11 Comments to be addressed.

 

2) The following comments based upon the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations.

 

3) 3C/A4             The required water closet clear space is 60 inches minimum, measured perpendicular from the sidewall with no other fixtures or obstructions within that space (ICC/ANSI A117.1-604.3.1). Please clarify for the benefit of the installing contractor.contractor.

 

4) 7/A6                The 34" maximum height of the sink is measured to the flood rim of the sink (ICC/ANSI A117.1-606.3).

 

5) A2                   Plumbing and mechanical plans signed and sealed by an Alaska registered professional mechanical engineer will also be required.

 

6) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
