1) STATUS: 7-22-11 Comments to be addressed.
2) The following comments based upon the 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform Plumbing Code or any federal, state or local regulations.
3) M2.2 Four sets of the main building roof drains and overflow drains combine to a horizontal 3" main. At 6700 sq ft, and .6" per hour of rainfall for the Anchorage area this will only work for a slope of 1/4" per foot or more (UPC Table 11-2). Please clarify.
4) M7.1 The 1" gas branches serving each boiler (500 MBH @ 20 feet) appear to be under sized per Table 12-8.
5) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised plumbing pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
