Advisory Information:

Approved, MG 10-10-11.

OK for OK for Footing & Foundation ONLY. Other grading work outside of the building footprint such as storm drain and final grading are not approved.  By the developer going forward with the F&F the floor elevation will be set prior to approval of a grading & drainage plan stamped by a civil engineer that may result in significant increased costs to the developer to resolve site specific challenges to preparing an approvable site grading & drainage plan.

Correction, MG 7-6-11.

1.  Drainage Report:  If applicable complete the Drainage Certification found in the Drainage Design Guidelines Appendix C-3, along with backup calculations (areas and weighted coefficients) stamped by a civil Engineer (http://www.muni.org/Departments/works/project_management/Pages/Publications.aspx). Otherwise, provide a drainage report prepared and stamped by a civil engineer licensed in the State of Alaska per the 2007 DCM Ch:2.  Reference the 2007 Drainage Design Guidelines, Appendix A for preparation of a Drainage Report (follow outline beginning on page A-3 and include relevant forms) to be submitted with the drainage and grading plan.  Please include drainage calculation inputs and results in the EPA SWMM digital format on a CD if applicable.

Resolved, MG 10-10-11.
