Comments for 3/22/11 submittal

1.) Traffic review is incomplete pending an approved zoning review and checklist.  Provide approved calculations for off street parking and loading berths. 

2.) Provide haul route information meeting the requirements of AMC 9.46.410.A; the shortest, most direct route, which minimizes travel on local and collector roadways shall be used.

3.) Accessible parking shall meet the requirements of AMC 21.45.080.X.8 and the latest edition of the DOJ ADA Standards for Accessible Design regarding; van accessible stall and access aisles, signage, detectable warnings, cross and surface slopes. A "No Parking, Any Time" sign shall be posted centered at the 8 foot wide van accessible aisle.  Attached, please find a link to MOA's ADA Parking detail for your consideration:

4.) SHT. C2.08 - Show offset typical from the back of curb or edge of pavement to center of sign posts for ADA parking.  ADA stall lengths are shown to be eighteen (18) feet long.  The minimum stall length is twenty (20) feet.  Revise detail to provide eighteen (18) feet to the concrete wheel stop and an allowable two (2) foot overhang.  Provide traffic control staging details for the work to be completed.  

5.) This review shall be considered incomplete pending receipt and approval of the requested information and/or additional comments. 4/21/11 ~DF~
