Advisory Information:

1) STATUS: 4-7-11 Comments to be addressed.

2) The following comments based upon the 2006 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations.

3) 0106/A2.03a The water closet clear space along the wall behind the toilet from the corner towars the lav is required to be a minimum of 60" with no obstructions or other fixtures (ICC/ANSI A117.1-604.3.1). This appears to be an item that can be accomplished in this existing space. Please clarify.

4) 2,3,9 & 15/A401 The height of the horizontal grab bar is a maximum of 36" to the top of the gripping surface (not centerline) per ICC/ANSI A117.1-609.4.

5) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
