Verify construction type. Is this type II-FR or type II-1 hr, type II-non-rated? I don't believe that this bldg. can be of non-rated construction. Resub: 9/8/98 Verified II-1-hr construction. O How many stories is the bldg? Provide floor plan of exitng from stairwells to exterior of bldg. Resub: Provided & O I disagree with your occupant load. The waiting room and reception area are not calculated at 100 s.f. per person. The (24 chairs) seating shown on the plans increase the spaces occupant load over 100 which requires rated corridors. Resub: Plans indicate change to seating...Ok Provide emergency lighting and show on plans. Provide back up power for lighting,. Resub: Provided on plans O What type of medical gas will you be using? Where is it stored? Show on plans, show wall construciton. Provide amounts stored. Show ventillation through exterior wall or other approved method. All storage and handling of compressed gases and medicalgas sytems shall comply to UFC in addition to UBC. UBC 410/411. Resub: Provided and O Does the building have a fire alarm? Show on plans and extend system into this space. Same for sprinkler. Provide copies of annual fire alarm and sprinkler service report with NO deficiencies. Resubmittal: Provided... however there are numerous deficiencies listed for both sprinkler system and fire alarms system. Permit is approved for this project, however, all deficiencies MUST be corrected on all floors prior to a C.O being issued. Contact Bldg. owner or mngr Verify that there will NEVER be more than 5 patients that are incapable of unassisted self-preservation.. There could be 5 in recovery not capable of unassisted exiting, plus 2 in surgery at the same time. Provide letter from IMA/AEC. Resub: Providedand O Unable to review resubmittal.
