The following comments based on the 1994 edition of the Uniform Mechanical Code should be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform Mechanical Code or any federal, state or local regulations The plans do not show the existing ventilation and hydronic systems or the connection points to these systems. Thus it is not clear whether the existing systems have adequate caopacity to serve the proposed revisions. Please clarify connection points to existing systems. Also, the plans are not clear enough to verify whether fire/smoke dampers are required
