. C(1): Provide drainage calculations prepared and stamped by a civil engineer licensed in the State of ALaska per the 2007 DCM Ch:2. Reference the 2007 Drainage Design Guidelines, Appendix A for preparation of a Drainage Report to be submitted with the drainage and grading plan. Drainage report comments from ML emailed to Dee High on 8-8-8, MG. C(2): Please provide a copy of the Geotechnical Report with recommendations for pavement areas. All pre-design subsurface investigations shall be inaccordance with the soil investigation standards given in DCM Section 1.040. AMCR 21.90.003.F.1.k. No Geotechnical Report as of 7-31-8, MG. C(3): On sheet C1 of 3, a note indicates that the details for The Underground Infiltration Detention Gallery can be found on sheet C2 of 3, detail B,however this detail does not exist. Please revise and resubmit. C(4): ADVISORY NOTE: Comply with ADEC regulatory separation criteria and register dry wells with the EPA's Class V UIC (underground injection control) program. C(5): On sheet C2 of 3, detail A, the fill along the property line does not appear to comply with the following requirement: The toe of fill slope shall be made not nearer to the site boundary line than one-half the height of the slope with a minimum of two feet and a maximum of 20 feet. Where a fill slope is to be located near the site boundary and the adjacent off-site property is developed, special precautions shall be incorporated in the work as the code official deems necessary to protect the adjoining property from damage as a result of such grading. These precautions may include but are not limited to: Additional setbacks, Provision for retaining or slough walls, Mechanical or chemical treatment of the fill slope surface to minimize erosion, provisions for the control of surface waters. AMCR 23.105.111.3. C(6): Provide roof drain locations on the civil plans and/or tie-in to the storm drain facility with no concentrated drainage being directed across sidewalks, parking lots or driveways. Include inverts, minimum bury depth, type of pipe, diameter of pipe, type of connections and freeze protection. DCM 2.040.B.3. Not addressed as of 7-31-8, MG. C(7): Please provide East to West cross section details. C(8): Please provide drainage swale details that indicate a minimum of 1% longitudinal grade, at least 2:1 side slopes, minimum depth, minimum width and the establishment of vegetation. C(9): Please provide a storm drain profile and include lengths, depths, inverts, grade and type of pipe. C(10): On the grading and drainage plan, please clearly indicate initial and proposed grading contour lines. C(11): Please provide information (map) that clearly shows the outfall and drainage connection to a storm drain facility. C(12): PM&E comments may be incomplete pending further submittals. C(13): No CCO/CO until all plan approved onsite detention/infiltration construction is found to be satisfactory to the PM&E Private Development Inspector. Provide 24 hours advanced notice for inspection prior to backfilling the detention/infiltration, and provide 24 hours advanced notice for a final inspection of final drainage grading. C(14): Prior to PM&E plan approval provide 2 civil plan sets, 11” x 17” for inspector use once all comments have been addressed.
