Advisory Information:

. C(1): Provide drainage calculations prepared and stamped by a civil engineer licensed in the State of Alaska that accounts for peak on site and off site drainage accumulations (include roof and foundation drains if applicable) for the 10 year storm event . In addition identify connections to existing and/or proposed facilities and determine the Time of Concentration (DCM Fig. 2-7), Rainfall Intensity (DCM Fig. 2-2, 2-5 or 2-6) and show that the drainage facility is adequate for the determined peak runoff (DCM 2-15). 1988 DCM 2.050, P&P No.: 5. C(2): On sheet C2.6 & C2.70, . With the information provided it appears that the depth of cover does not always reach the minimum 4' as required in DCM 2.070.J. Insulation and/orheat tracing is required in this situation. DCM 2.070. C(3): On sheet C2.6 & C2.7, please clarify which storm drain is proposed as 6" diamter. The minimum diameter of storm drain pipe is 12 inch diameter and catch basin lead minimum size is 10" diameter. 1988 DCM 2.070.B. C(4): Please provide the proposed type of storm drain pipe. C(5): On sheet C2.30 drainage is directed east towards the projects office. As observed on 4-25-8, drainage in this area is poor, please clarify how this drainage is directed to astorm drain and not contributing to an already poorly drained area. C(6): PM&E comments may be incomplete pending further submittals. C(7): OK for excavation only. MG, 4-25-8
