Please provide details necessary for the construction of framework and supports for the screens. 2/1/07 The provided submittal provides specification for the structural support, however no clearance is specified for deflections. This clearance must be maintained for all components attached to the support and any adjacent fixtures or fixed portions of the windows or glazing. 2/5/06 No statement of required clearance is apparent. Note added to provide min. 2" clearance between attached elements and the window glazing system. C(2): The screens are hung at heights greater than 8' and their weights are unknown. Where they are greater than 40 lb they will be required to be evaluated for attachment/supportincluding supporting members for forces prescribed by section 9.6 of ASCE 7-02. 2/1/07 No evaluation has been submitted.
