. C(1): The following comments based on the 1997 Uniform Building Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform Building Code or any federal, state or local regulations. C(2): Two exits are required from the cooler unit in accordance with section 1007.7.3.1. C(3): The separation of the second floor exits does not comply with section 1004.2.4. Stair 106, 130 and 119 all originate at lobby 206. STATUS: RESOLVED 7-6-00. STAIRS CONNECTED BY A RATED CORRIDOR SYSTEM. SEE COMMENTS 4 and 5. C(4): Please revise plans to clarify the termination of the rated corridor walls on the first floor. Reference section 1004.3.4.3.1. Also clarify the protection at the underside of stairs 119 and 130. C(5): Stair 119 constitutes a dead end in excess of 20 feet.
