No response required FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS. Sprinkler and fire alarm coverage are required in walk-in freezer. To determine if fire system permit is required, contact Bart Meinhardt, Fire Systems Plan Review at 267 4931. IFC 903.2.6 and 907.2.7. Note: Since roof is plywood, sprinkler coverage may also be required in space between roof and freezer. Roof Flame Spread Class: Please verify that the roof covering meets Class C flame spread per IBC 1505.4. Class C roof assemblies and roof coverings shall be listed and identified as Class C by an approved testing agency.
