. C(1): P0.0 & P2.0 HWRP-1 is specified for 8 GPM at 7 feet of head and is mounted on 3/4" type "L" copper tubing. Our water here in Anchorage is quite aggressive as it contains few minerals to provide a protective coating on the inner lining of the pipe. UPC 610.12.1 allows a maximum of 5 FPS velocity within copper tubing on domestic hot water lines. The specified 8 GPM thru 3/4" "L" copper tubing provides about 6 GPM velocity. Please address. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 9-15-08. C(2): P2.0 Note #20 specifies an RPBP behind what appears to be three future tanks in Water Treatment #117. Please clarify access and clearances per UPC 603.3.4 and adequately sized floor "DRAIN" per local amendment to 603.3.9. 9-15-08 UNRESOLVED. IT STILL APPEARS THAT THE RPBP IS TO BE INSTALLED ON THE WALL BEHIND THREE FUTURE (?) TANKS WHICH WILL RENDER IT INACCESSABLE FOR TESTING AND MAINTENANCE. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 10-9-08.
