Advisory Comment (no response required): This review is based on the requirements of the Anchorage Administrative Code (AAC), 2003 International Building Code (IBC) and all adopted references thereto as amended by MOA. The following comments must be addressed before a permit can be issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of the codes, or any federal, state or local regulations. CONCRETE SCREWS Reference details 5 and 6 on sheet S4.62 and page 8 of the calculations. It appears that the intent is to use Simpson Titen HD screws to attach the canopy to the structure. Please clarify this on the drawings. The plan reviewer can redline this information on the drawings if given permission by the engineer of record.
