. C(1): PERMIT STATUS 10/15/2007 - C.O. #4 - Initial review. Comments issued. 10/25/2007 - Approved. C(2): RESPONSE COEFFICIENT FOR CONCRETE ANCHORAGE Refer to Calculations Page 2, 9. The design calls for Rp = 5.0 in accordance with ASCE 7 Table 9.6.3.2 for "General Electrical" equipment. However, the details call for 3/8 inch anchors with 2-1/2 inch embedment, which qualifies as a shallow anchor. ASCE 7 Section 9.6.1.6 requires the design of anchorage to concrete or masonry to be based on Rp = 1.5. Please provide revised calculations and details as necessary.
